Kristi helped me with some problems I was having with breastfeeding and ready to give up.
So I will do my best to try to sum it up. Kristi does her job well is an understatement. She bends over backwards to help not only the babies, but the parents as well. I will just highlight a few things quickly:

Always asking if we needed anything, holding and singing to the baby in the next room that was screaming/crying for hours - yet was still cheerful and helpful to us during her shift. When we gave S her bath (first one to us) she would pee or poop every time she touched the water. Kristi just kept up a smile and changed the water 3 different times for us and kept getting more heated blankets, so S won't get sick. She was very informational and helped us figure out how to give her a bath, wash her hair, and tips about things like cradle cap she might get later and what to do. Her kindness is just so amazing day in and day out.

Kristi helped me with some problems I was having with breastfeeding and ready to give up.  I was pumping for an hour each time, so I was pumping every other hour of the day. It was impossible to get some sleep or do anything. I was so upset that I thought I was failing my daughter as a parent. Kristi had a few suggestions and even went and got me an extra breastfeeding kit. Between the advice and her encouragement I decided to keep trying. I am so glad I didn't give up on that day. Kristi is something outstanding and I wish that every single family at Children's is lucky enough to have a nurse like Kristi during their stay. She truly is a special nurse that should be recognized.
