Kris is an extraordinary nurse who has gone over and above in every aspect of my mother's care while at St. Joseph’s for the past 11 days. There were numerous occasions when I had questions regarding her illness, tests, blood work, and medications. Kris always listened to my concerns and attentively considered my observations. His explanations were always concise, informative, and complete, so I understood. He made me feel like I was part of my mother's care team. Kris always responded to my mother's call button in a reasonable amount of time. I noticed that he utilized PCTs to my mother's benefit, and this boosted the overall efficiency of the team by doing so. He was always respectful and appreciative to staff, and I believe this motivated them and was reflected in the care my mother received from them. Kris is the ultimate nursing professional, role model, and a very special person. We were blessed to have him as my mother's nurse for three days, and this is a testament to his excellent clinical expertise and extraordinarily compassionate care.
