Kristie Gardner

Kristie has been an extraordinary student throughout the prelicensure BSN program. She is not only a patient advocate in her clinical areas but also a student advocate. Kristie speaks up in classes regarding understanding content and asking pertinent questions so that everyone understands difficult concepts. She is a proactive learner who supports her peers, displays many positive leadership qualities, and serves as a role model for her peers.

Kristie volunteers to assist others and has multiple community volunteer activities that she manages to fit into her already crowded schedule, all while maintaining high grades in her courses. Kristie is in her second year of being an active board member of the Student Nurses Association, in which she has played a pivotal role in finding community volunteer activities for the group. She was chosen by the faculty to be a Student Ambassador for the School of Nursing and has served well in that capacity for the last year, volunteering for multiple activities, particularly at the Newnan Campus. Kristie is a consummate professional and consistently displays caring and respect in all that she does.
