Our 10-year-old son was here due to our house fire. Kristin was absolutely amazing the entire week. I have never met a nurse who was so compassionate. She treated our son and our family as if she were her own. She went head over heels to make sure we had everything we could possibly need or want and went beyond anything I ever would have expected. Her compassion and love for her job, my son, and us made this tragic event bearable. 

Kristin came in on her days off to continue her care for my son and our family. She never got frustrated; answering the same questions over and over. Kristin comforted my entire family - from getting our breakfast and coffee while we were emotional disasters to helping us give our son a final bath in his room. Her sympathy for our family and our pain was showered with love and emotion when we needed it most. She then returned after a full shift to be present for my son’s hero walk at 2:30 in the morning. 

Everyone at Doctors was great to us, but Kristin stuck by our side like a thorn until the end. My family will never forget Kristin or the selfless acts of kindness she gave, including missing time with her own loved ones to be with our loved ones. Kristin definitely went above and beyond x 10 for my son. There are not enough words to express how grateful I was to have her helping my son and family. BEST NURSE HANDS DOWN EVER!!!! I will forever remember you and will hold a special place in my heart.
