In addition to her exemplary clinical skills, Kristin also brings joy to the parents of our tiny babies. Christmas is a difficult time for our parents when their children are in the NICU, so Kristin decided Santa should come for a special visit. She planned and arranged for this happy event. The joy was contagious, it was pure magic! Santa visited every baby, took pictures and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". It was such a beautiful day for parents who were overjoyed that they were able to have a picture of their baby with Santa. The NICU is a frightening place for our parents, who imagined a very different birth story, but with Kristin's expert nursing care and infectious encouragement she helps make everyone believe that everything will be okay, which is priceless.
