Perhaps what makes Kristin so special, though, is how much she cares. She cares about the patients, making sure their needs are met and that they are receiving excellent care.
Kristin is an exceptional nurse; a mentor and a role model for so many people on the unit. Kristin has been on the 7SA Team for many years, through ups and downs, tears of joy and laughter, and tears of pain and sadness. Kristin is a leader on the unit, and she is definitely someone you want at the helm of the ship during rough seas.
Kristin’s work ethic is second to none. She is constantly running around the unit, answering call lights, helping staff with tasks, and strategizing the flow of patients and staffing. She is always calm and collected, and she doesn’t shy away from a challenge. In fact, Kristin faces challenges head on, always with a can-do, get ‘er done attitude!
Perhaps what makes Kristin so special, though, is how much she cares. She cares about the patients, making sure their needs are met and that they are receiving excellent care. She cares about the families, checking in on them and welcoming them as part of the care team. She cares about her colleagues, always watching out for someone who needs some words of encouragement and pointing out when someone is deserving of kudos. And she cares about our organization and our mission to improve the health of the public. Kristin is an amazing nurse and an asset to 7SA, UWMC, and the nursing profession. She is so deserving of this recognition.
