Kristin is a wonderful nurse. The first time I had Kristin, I loved how knowledgeable she was she assured me that my baby is going to be fine. She would always ask me if there is anything she could get me or do for me. She loves her job and is such a sweet lady. Her main priority was making sure my baby was well taken care of on her shift. She would play with him, sing to him watch him play with his toys. After having her three days straight I had to ask her to be my primary nurse for my son. I couldn't have made a better decision.
Kristin has been a phenomenal person with my son. The way he lights up when she enters the room. She has gone above and beyond when I was having health issues. She told me to relax and take care of myself and that she would take care of him like her own. That made me feel great. I never have once worried when leaving about my day with her. I know he is in good hands. Kristin has shown and educated me on how to take care of his G-button. She always makes sure that if changes are made, she will inform me and explain why. I'm so thankful that she is my son's primary nurse. Medical City is lucky to have her. We have had some hard days in the NICU and the compassion she shows is amazing.

My baby was sick for a week. Kristin was right by his side. Comforting him telling me not to worry. He will be just fine. Anytime the monitor would go off she was at the bedside swiftly. Checking and looking to see if anything needed to be done leads come off, trach popped off the list goes on and on. I will never forget the day she gave him shots he was crying, and she was too. She was so sad to see him cry getting shots.
That touched me because that let me know that picking her for my primary nurse was the best decision I could make. I'm beyond blessed to have her as my baby's nurse. I have seen her help with new admissions as they come up, she would be charting and step to help out to get supplies or lend a hand. Kristin deserves this award and then some. I'm so happy to call her a friend as well. She has truly made a huge impact in our lives and I will forever be grateful for her. She has been a Blessing!
