Kristin is always a fantastic nurse. She is the best patient advocate that I have seen. She is always doing whatever it takes to get the patient what they need to receive the best possible care. I have had experiences where she even intervenes with my own patients if she felt they needed something that wasn't currently part of their care. Recently Kristin was in charge and she couldn't do more for us girls on the floor. I don't know how she kept up with it all. That day we had a patient go bad on us pretty quickly. Kristin was calm with it all which in turn kept us other girls and the family calm as well. We worked hard to at least ensure the patient was comfortable and Kristin did a wonderful job of calmly explaining to the family what was going on and what we were doing. I want to express how thankful I was to have her on the floor with us that day. It was her help, experience, and calmness that enabled us to stabilize the patient. Her patients are certainly in good hands when they have her.
