I have witnessed how competent and compassionate she is as a charge nurse and how she manages to handle complex situations with grace and composure.
Being a new nurse here in our unit, it is normal to be nervous and scared, but Kristin extended her hands and did not allow me to feel alone. Watching her work makes me motivated to give not only my best but to put my heart into everything. She is not just a person with a beautiful face but a beautiful soul too. It is obvious that her job is her passion, and she is dedicated to our unit and patients. She is always there whenever needed even without asking and she always offers help to make hard tasks much easier. For me, she is the heart of 3 North and deserves to be recognized. She is a big asset at Cape Fear, and I hope I can follow in her footsteps as a nurse.
I have witnessed how competent and compassionate she is as a charge nurse and how she manages to handle complex situations with grace and composure. We are short-staffed on our unit frequently and she is flexible at managing patient care and doing charge at the same time. One time, we had a really difficult relative of a patient, and she was able to handle them effectively because of her strong communication skills. To me, she deserves so much recognition for being a well-rounded nurse.
