I have a rare genetic illness that can sometimes make one-day surgery unexpectedly complicated and require an overnight stay. Kristin advocated for my needs as a patient with a rare, complicated illness and made sure I had a safe hospital stay post-surgery.
I felt Kristin had a lot of empathy and was truly willing to listen to the problem, and then take action efficiently and thoughtfully. Her care and interaction with me, while brief during this visit, had a significant impact on my health in a positive way. I hope Atrium Health will recognize her for her strong empathy and compassion in addition to her fantastic leadership skills.
