My name is J and I was admitted to the 5th floor in August. I had been brutally beaten and besides this, the individual tried to strangle and rape me. I was and still am in great pain physically. But my mental state and the despair I felt was overwhelming. If not for the care, compassion, and love of Miss Kristin "Florence Nightingale", I don't think I would be here writing this today. She gave me the strength when I had none. She did not allow me to give up. I truly believe I would have. I now actually can smile and laugh, even though it hurts because my body is a hot mess.
I have observed her with other patients and she is remarkable. On the other hand, she is a complete goofball! But what a great goofball she is! She saved my life and is a hell of a nurse. I would hope she knows how much she means to me and anyone she encounters. You truly are lucky to have her. I know I am! I just want you to know how wonderful Kristin is, thank you!
