I would like to recognize the nurse that got my family and me through my Father's fight with COVID.
I can't begin to explain how sweet, patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind she was. My Dad wasn't an easy patient. He became combative and Kristina found a way to help my family get through it all. When she was there, I felt completely confident my Dad never felt uncomfortable or alone. I understand how busy ICU nurses are and never did she make us feel that we were a bother at all.
He passed away in July, and because my whole house tested positive, we couldn't be there with him but always felt that he was in loving hands. I'm reaching out because I am the first to complain when things are not right but also the person that gives credit where it is due. It was an honor to have Kristina in our lives through the worst possible days and I want to make sure someone hears about this amazing angel that works in your ICU.
Thank you!
