I was blown away by this young lady when she pronounced my name correctly. I do not know her personally, but I appreciated her taking the time to learn how to say my difficult name. She was very helpful once we got to my exam room also. She talked with me about the risks of high blood pressure, using tobacco, and being overweight. She encouraged me to exercise more and was all around very friendly and helpful.

I wish all veterans would have experiences like mine today at the Beckley VAMC. I appreciate the genuine concern from the staff and am thankful that we have fine Americans working at the Beckley VAMC. I hope that you will pass this on to that young woman, and I want the staff at the Beckley VAMC to know that they are all very much appreciated!
