I came from Roanoke Virginia to Vermont with my family to ski, fell down 14 stairs, and broke my hip. Fortunately, I was taken to RRMC. After surgery, I was moved from the surgical floor to the Progressive Care floor for a rapid heartbeat. All of the doctors, nurses, and staff were outstanding during my stay. One nurse rose above the rest. Kristina was constantly aware of my vitals and pain level, taking the time to explain any and everything to me and my wife. She was never more than a few seconds away allowing us to feel confident of the care I was receiving. Because I had a long 12-hour trip back to Virginia, we wanted as early a start as possible. Kristina worked very hard to expedite the process. Happily, the long trip home was successful. I have been treated in other hospitals, in my 83 years and Kristina is the best nurse I have had.
