This beautiful angel of a woman has numerously gone above and beyond what she ever had to do. Every single day! Kristina Northam put my son at ease so many times when he was afraid. She treated him and my family with so much kindness, respect, and love. Every time I see her, even when we are not assigned to her, she asks how he's doing and if there is anything we need. She has talked me through emotional breakdowns. My son is 16 which is a little older than most kids here. He struggles with wanting the staff to treat him as a young man and not a baby. Kristina does such a great job with that. She has stood up for him in a personal family situation during our first transplant. It meant a lot to us. She is not afraid to try anything to make these kids smile. I have so many positive things to say about her. I will stop here. If I don't, I will need 5 more sheets of paper!
