I have literally been living for the past three years in hospitals and assorted medical facilities - once in a great while I am cared for by a kind, and or knowledgeable, or attentive nurse or doctor. This is all due to my stage 4 colo-rectal Metastatic terminal cancer.
In short order, Kristina made me feel the comfort of family. She is all the above; positive, professional qualities that are rare to find singularly, albeit, this nurse is chock-filled with encouragement medically knowledgeable, there is an honest interest she compassionately shows - shares and has made me feel a part of. I could not possibly be more grateful, impressed, and by way of comparison, there is a very good chance that I have never met or been cared for by a medical professional that truly is the embodiment of skill, tenderness, comfortable and ever-so efficient/exuberant in her caregiving.
Kristina was nothing short of amazing to watch hone her craft and I was blessed to have received this unique blend of quality and thoughtful care. This is my favorite hospital in the valley and always has been and though these halls are densely traveled by many high quality and learned professionals, Kristina today has topped the charts. I can only hope in my painful and debilitating fight against this Metastatic disease that I meet a couple of healthcare professionals that even come close to the healing I've felt this entire day.
