I have an abdominal wound that requires multiple dressing changes daily. Kristina was changing my dressing for the 4th time one day when another patient's family member began yelling at Kristina from the doorway of my room. Kristina told the family member she would be with him as soon as she was finished with the dressing change. The family member became verbally aggressive toward Kristina. Throughout the incident, Kristina was very professional and calm. Kristina deserves to be acknowledged for the skilled way in which she managed this unfortunate situation.
