I recently had surgery for kidney stones were a stent was placed. I was not treated on the bus; they sent me off like I was nothing, even though I told them I was in a lot of pain. Before even making it back to my house, I knew I needed to go to the emergency room, so we came to that clinic. I had already had too much pain to even begin to explain, enough anger to burn down an entire building, and enough distrust to feel like my trip was pointless.

When I tell you this amazing woman went out of her way to make me laugh, make me smile, talk to me, relate to me, keep my boyfriend up-to-date and comfortable, make sure my pain was managed, and literally never once did I feel like a burden for anything I needed. I mean, saying she went above and beyond is an understatement. It’s a day later, and thinking about her brings tears to my eyes! The world needs more people like her. Caregivers become robotic, non-personable, and a little hardened, and she showed no signs of that.

Kristine, you truly charmed one of the most painful, worst weeks of my life around with your beautiful smile, and I will never forget you for that! Thank you.Keep being you! There’s literally not a single thing you need to change! You rock! I can imagine how many lives you have touched!
