When Kris Baravetto was rooming the patient, the patient told her she had thoughts of harming her unborn fetus with a plan. Kris immediately alerted the doctor for further direction and Dr. G. asked Kris to contact the crisis center for additional support with the patient. When Kris contacted the crisis center, they directed her to send the patient home and they would later follow up. Kris was not comfortable with sending the patient home and voiced her concern again to the crisis center. The crisis center did end up coming onsite to meet with the patient for several hours and was going to continue to follow up with the patient. Kris's dedication and patient-centered care ensured this patient along with her unborn child were kept safe and given the care needed.
