What was supposed to be a normal induced vaginal delivery quickly became the most terrifying, traumatic experience of my life! An emergency C-Section. My BP dropped so low that I hardly remember the events of my 2nd childbirth but what I do remember was that at the start of the procedure, my OBGYN noticed my placenta rupture was over 70%. I lost a lot of blood, and had to get a blood transplant… you name it but through everything, Kristine was one of my biggest supporters outside of my family, OBGYN & and other rotating nurses.

She cared for me as well as my child with so much compassion and genuine care. My baby was so comfortable with her, that I requested only that she give him his first bath. To this day, I consider her not just my hero but an angelic mind, body, and soul. God grants us grace and mercy. I’m thankful I was in the company of a like-minded human being who truly exemplified.
