Kris is always willing to carry more than her load, jump in and help either a coworker or patient in need. She is pleasant and kind; she has the patience of a saint. Kris has a daughter that has had a head injury, a military husband and also cares for her elderly mother in law, but you would have no idea that she has any other cares in this world. She treats the patients and their families the way we all would want to be treated. Whether she's been here for 1 hour or 12, she is kind, considerate and even tempered. She is an awesome nurse and isn't afraid to tackle any situation. She's always the first to jump in and offer help. Kris is my 'go to girl' in any situation. I can always depend on her.

Kris continues to support her team members on a daily basis by offering to pitch in and help, whether to work extra hours, help out with a patient or just offer a kind word of support. We all know that Kris has a 'very full plate' with family, but you'd never know it with the kindness she shows to patients and their families. She quietly goes about her day so many times you don't notice how hard she really is working. She just keeps her head down, her mouth closed and plows ahead to get any job done. She is in charge when M is off and takes the responsibility very seriously. Many times she is the first one in and the last one to leave making sure every detail for the next day is addressed. She gives selflessly and rarely complains. I feel Kris is definitely an unsung hero!
