I have worked with Kristine on many occasions while responding to REV calls on R-7 on the night shift. When Kristine is on duty, the floor runs like a well-oiled machine. I feel a sense of relief when she is on duty because I know no matter how stressful situations can become, things will run smoothly. Her intelligence and critical thinking skills are evident; her quick actions in emergency situations have saved lives. Kristine exemplifies all the qualities of an excellent nurse. She presents herself with the utmost professionalism, and has this beautiful smile that never quits. She gives her patients impeccable care, is very vigilant and compassionate. She finds the time to talk with her patients like they were her own family. Her love for nursing is obvious and is an excellent example for all the newer nurses that she has mentored over the years. She promotes camaraderie and teamwork amongst her peers. Bridgeport Hospital is very lucky to have Kristine Hackett.
