I was scared out of my mind when I arrived here as a transport from another hospital. It was unclear what procedures were needed in order to heal a horrendous infection on my face! I was in an unfamiliar place among unfamiliar faces. But right from the beginning, Kristine, my RN went straight to work. She informed me of everything: who she was, what procedure her and the doctor we're doing to help me and told me to speak up if I had any questions. She made me feel right at ease, as if I had known her forever. Kristine works very diligently, has a tremendous amount of patience, her kindness perseveres her, and her intelligence matches the kindness of her heart. I became very upset during my stay, but she reassured me that I would be fine and put my fears to rest. She stayed with me until I was convinced that my infection would go away and my life (face) would be normal again. I've been working in nursing for 17+ years and she has the biggest heart of any nurse I have ever met. I want her to know- Kristine, "U" put the "RN" in NURSE.
