I was working a shift at Children's Direct and was by myself on the phone. I got a lot of calls that were honestly too much for me to handle and Kristine popped on from home and asked if I needed help. I was drowning; she stayed on and helped me facilitate the transfer and transport of 2 critically ill pts to SLCH. Could not have done it without her! And to top it off it was Christmas! She took time away from her family on Christmas to help me. I really appreciate her!
This action created safe and effective care and exceptional service. We were able to help the outside hospitals with their critically ill patients and get them here in a timely and safe manner.
