Kristine is a very kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful nurse. She is extremely sensitive to the needs of her co-workers and patients alike. She likes to make everyone feel special. She remembers her co-worker's birthdays and goes above and beyond to make sure they receive their gifts on their special day. As it relates to patient care, Kristine does an amazing job day after day with a smile and is consistent with her patient care. In each room that I enter, the patients rant and rave about the care she provides. And what's most important, the patients return to Touro because of the care that she has provided to them. The patients can recall the time when she was their nurse. It's SPECIAL that she has made a long-lasting impact at a time when patients feel so vulnerable. She embodies all the elements of relationship-based care: care of self, care of colleagues, and care of patients and families. She is an impactful nurse. Very quiet, you would never know she's in the building, but to the lives she touches, you know she was there!
