Kristine Sanchez, RN

Kristine was caring for a patient with autism who was anxious about needing a blood draw and a Covid test. She kneeled next to his bed during his blood draw so the patient did not have to move and worry about his bed raising and changing his environment. Prior to his Covid test, Kristine used developmentally appropriate language to explain how the test feels and even demonstrated on herself with a Q-tip to show the patient. Her flexibility and caring nature made all the difference, and the patient was able to complete the covid test without any upset.

I love working with Kristine when I have the chance, as she always does the best for her patients to help make them feel as comfortable as possible.
