Kristy L Patrick-Lewis, DNP, RN

Dr. Kristy Patrick-Lewis was nominated for her dedication, support, and commitment to her students and to the Loewenberg College of Nursing. She is praised by her students for her engagement, advocacy, and availability within their learning. One student writes, "She worked to put together a workshop to help nurture our critical thinking skills as new students. She made herself very available and helped as much as possible when it came to learning our nursing skills in Foundations.” Dr. Patrick-Lewis embodies the role of a student advocate in nursing education.

As a faculty member, she is respected by her colleagues and staff for her efforts in encouraging student success through her teaching practices and student collaborations. She is recognized as the Honoree for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurse Educator due to her devotion to nursing education.
