Kristy Latzke, RN
Kristy has a beautiful gift for fetal demise families. She has knitted small hats and blankets throughout the years, ensures the parents have beautiful pictures of their babies, and truly goes above and beyond.
Kristy has been known to go above and beyond for these patients and their families by treating patients with the utmost respect. She has assembled boxes with the most personal belongings for the parents to treasure forever (including molds of the patient's feet). I'm certain patients would have been cared for at any facility, but I know the extra special care they received in one of the hardest moments of their life isn't something you get from just any nurse.
It is an honor to nominate her for this award.
