Kristy is a Care Team Triage Nurse at Asheville Cardiology and is the first line of communication for patients who call our office with concerns. In the course of her shift she has to speak to at least 30 patients calling with a variety of cardiac complaints. She is remarkable. First and foremost she is excellent at triage. She is able to discern which callers' issues can wait for routine MD reply, which ones require a page to their MD and which ones should be seen urgently. I trust her instincts! When she sees patients for me her assessments are accurate and precise and her presentations crisp and efficient.
She is quick to establish rapport with our frequent callers and their families and more often than not at the end of a visit with me they will ask if she is available for a quick word or thanks. She is one of ACA's most valuable care givers!
