My husband, B, had a hard recovery when he had his knee replaced a couple of years ago. This year he was to have his hip replaced and I had my mind made up that he was not going to go through the bad experience again. We attended the Joint Replacement Class and Kristy facilitated the class. After class, I went up to her and told her about our prior experience and how I didn't want it to happen again. She looked at me and said, "You were in room X, I remember you". She told me she would let the staff know on the floor about us. After B had his surgery she was his nurse for two days. Everything worked out well this time. Kristy made sure we had a positive experience, thank you.
