On behalf of my family, I would like to thank you for the wonderful care you provided for my grandmother. I am sad to say that she passed away shortly after Thanksgiving, but before she left us she made us promise that we would write to you and thank you for all you did. It has been more than a comfort to know that you were with her during the last week. My grandmother was a special person. She loved people, talking with them, hearing their stories, and that you were with her I know mean so much to her. I’m sure the last few years have had their difficulties for you and everybody in the medical field, but I hope that this letter can be a small bright spot, proof that what you do makes a difference in people’s lives because it made a difference in my family’s life and especially my grandmother’s. You made her last few days as comfortable and congenial as possible and for that, we are eternally grateful.
