Kruti was nominated for the Quarter 1 award for South Coast Global Medical Center. She received multiple nominations from her coworkers and one from one of the nursing supervisors.
The overall theme of the nominations spoke of Kruti's calm and supportive demeanor, especially during the worst of the pandemic.
One RN nominating told a story of entering a conversation in the Nurses' Station and the staff were talking about how hard it was and how Covid 19 was impacting the lives of our patients, their families, and the staff and their families. How overwhelming it was to care for the large amount of covid patients and watching them take their next breath. The nurses talked about the sense of relief that they felt when Kruti was getting report. She would reassure the staff and always say "it's ok, nursing is 24 hours, I can pick up wherever you left off." Kruti was able to pick people up with kind words. She is a mentor to new staff and students. From one of her nominations, "Kruti is the kind of nurse that other nurses should aspire to be like. She is caring towards her patients and colleagues. She makes people feel whole when they are broken."
