My father has been in and out of the ICU for the past month. The first time he went down to the ICU and was put on a ventilator, it was very emotional for us. We didn't know what to expect. But we were blessed with Kruz. He was the day shift nurse for the 2 days he was on the ventilator. Without hesitation, Kruz came in and out of my father's room making sure he was ok. He had a ventilator and was fighting a fever. Every time Kruz came in to give him his meds, without asking, he made sure to tell us what it was for.

Both days he assured us that we should just give my father time to recover. On top of all this Kruz made sure my dad was kept clean and tidy. From his room to his bed, to all the crazy lines of the bed to the vibrating leg machines at the end of the bed, they were all kept tidy and untangled. There are no words to express how grateful we are to have experienced the warmth and compassion of such a Nurse like Kruz. He went above and beyond to communicate to us all that was happening. Since we've never experienced something like this, it was a relief for us all for Kruz to explain carefully to make us understand everything that was happening to my father. He even made sure we as a family were comfortable while visiting. A million kudos Kruz! Forgot to mention he even shaved my dad's beard. What a nurse!
