Krysia R Cox, RN

Krysia was on her way to Scheels to pick up an anniversary gift for her husband after a long day of work. On her way to Scheels, Krysia came across an accident on the freeway. Krysia took it upon herself to pull over and assess scene safety before jumping in to help a woman in need. She was on the side of the freeway with an obvious head wound. Not only did she help stabilize this patient, but she also stayed to help translate for REMSA as this patient was Spanish-speaking only.

Krysia not only goes above and beyond for her patients inside the hospital, but she also goes above and beyond for those in her community. Thank you, Krysia for all that you do in and outside of work! You are appreciated in so many ways!

Krysia witnessed a car accident on the highway involving numerous cars and instantly jumped into action, even after working her 12-hour shift today. I came upon her already assessing an injured victim and providing support to the family. She had a calming presence and stayed organized and professional, providing physical and emotional care throughout a developing situation. Krysia exemplifies what it means to be a nurse and excellently demonstrated that our job does not end when we clock out!
