Krysta was nominated by a patient whose life she saved as she assessed the patient's symptoms of amniotic embolism. The patient unexpectedly had a seizure, stopped breathing, suffered cardiac arrest, and flatlined for almost four minutes. Krysta's fast response reestablished a heartbeat and saved the patient's life.
