Krystal Dabon
Krystal serves our country in the military as a nurse leader in the Army hospital.
She is committed to making a difference in population health through community service with underserved populations.
Her DNP project focuses on helping African American patients with treatment compliance for hypertension through the use of text
message reminders and follow-up. The goal is not only improve health outcomes for the population group, but also improve their health literacy.
Krystal is an exemplary student who actively participates in the DNP courses and manages to balance work,
life, and school. I am proud to nominate her for The DAISY Award.
