Krystal was compassionate when dealing with my care and comfort. She ensured I was informed about my care throughout the evening.
I came to the ER with severe pelvic pain which was super embarrassing for me. Krystal was so nice and did not make me feel uncomfortable. The ER was slammed by the time I left, with people being seen in the halls, but she still found time to check on me and make sure I was doing well. I’ve worked as an RN in an ER in Jax before and know how overwhelming it can be. She made such an anxiety-ridden moment comforting. I never tell anyone I’m a nurse. She explained everything she was doing and explained all the medications she was giving to me. I’ve been in the ER a lot between 2020-2021 due to health issues, and she tops all of the nurses I’ve seen. I ended up at a different ER the next day because that’s my regular place of care. The nurse was nice but didn’t introduce herself and didn’t explain anything about the medications she was giving me. I’d say that’s okay, but I already knew, so for someone not in healthcare they wouldn’t have known. When I was told I was being discharged, Krystal was right behind the doctor. I asked for a note to return to work, and she had it within minutes! She was super awesome and compassionate. Heck, she even showed me how to get out instead of having to wander the hallways to find my way out. I applaud her because her care is hard to find nowadays.
