Krystie went out of her way (on her day off) to go to the store, purchase materials to make homemade playdoh, and bring it to the hospital so we could make Plaster of Paris handprints for a baby that was not going to survive. This will be a keepsake that this family will cherish for the rest of their lives, and it was made possible because Krystie went above and beyond to provide the materials we needed to make the mementos. Krystie helped to restock our demise room with supplies so we could adequately make mementos for a grieving family. She made playdoh and bought some necessary supplies. Additionally, the next day, she went absolutely above and beyond and helped us to very quickly remake some of the mementos as some had not turned out very well. She had arranged the most incredible care for this family in need and made a lasting impact on not only their experience but on the nursing staff. You changed a patient life forever because of your dedication to your patients.
