Krystle went above and beyond for a patient who was 18 weeks pregnant and had pyelonephritis. The original plan was to admit this patient for antibiotics, but the patient had children at home and really did not want to be away from them. Krystle checked to see if the patient qualified for hospital at home and arranged this.

As the OB, I didn't even realize our early pregnant patients qualified for this! Not only did Krystle save the system a bed and money, but she also performed excellent patient-centered care. Many thanks for taking good care of this patient! Krystle Ramsey went out of her way to listen to the patient, investigate system resources, and arrange for out-of-hospital care. She also taught the on-call OB about a resource which will now be shared with OB colleagues for possible future use.

Krystle was fantastic. She explained everything to me in full detail. She went the extra mile for me and took her time to make sure she did all she could to make me comfortable. She advocated for me so that instead of being admitted to the hospital, I could receive in-home hospital care. If I ever have to come back, I sure hope to have her again.
