She learned that the patient liked music and dancing, and although he wasn’t able to get out of bed to dance, he was able to enjoy the music and dance in his bed. Krystle turned on some of her favorite Spanish music to share with the patient, which he really enjoyed. The smiles of the patient and his family at the bedside were infectious. Experiences like this one bring such a bright light to our patients during their darkest times. Krystle shared a special bond with the patient and his family that they will cherish moving forward.
