September 2011 Honoree
krystle repichowski, RN
I gave birth to my baby 7 weeks early because I developed a severe case of preeclampsia. I was having trouble communicating with the doctor which aggravated an already stressful situation. Krystle Repichowski stepped in to provide the communication I sought, explaining what was happening and providing me with the information I needed to remain calm. She changed what was a very awkward situation into a positive experience when, at my request, she communicated my distress to the director, allowing him to coordinate for my own OB-GYN coming in to do my C-Section.
I was most impressed by how Krystle handled a difficult situation very diplomatically even though it had the potential to be unpleasant for her. With her reassurance and care, I knew that I was in good hands and she helped me to calm down and give birth to my baby.

Thank you, Krystle, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
