Krzysztof Kalicki, RN

Krzysztof is the hardest working and most dedicated nurse I know. He recently worked 28 days in a row to make sure no patients went without their procedures. When asked how he is able to keep working, he says things like “I’ve been through worse.” In addition to his constant hustle in the interventional radiology department, Krzysztof also goes above and beyond to transport patients and to find the correct bed to put patients in so that the patient doesn’t have to move again, which also saves time and trouble for all of us on the floor. Krzysztof is always positive and has a gentle disposition. He is also a detail-oriented nurse who does great handoff every time. St. Joe’s and the IR department are lucky to have Krysztof and he deserves everything under the sun for recognition. This DAISY nomination is Critical Care’s way of saying “Krysztof - You Are Amazing!” We are so fortunate to have you working through staffing issues to keep caring for our patients.
