She did not judge or condemn my mistakes but encouraged me to continue to grow on my journey and take care of myself well.
Nurse Kuda trusted me to tell the truth about how I was feeling. She used good judgment to observe me and acknowledge my concerns, and needs, and trust that how I was feeling with the meds was valid. That is HUGE for me because not all nurses are able to do that. She saw and heard me, so I opened up to her and told her some of my story. She received me and did not brush me off. She allowed me to share. She showed genuine interest and concern for professionalism as well. I appreciate that she heard me out and acknowledged me as a whole person, learning, "living and learning" as she aptly put it. She did not judge or condemn my mistakes but encouraged me to continue to grow on my journey and take care of myself well. This goes a long way because I will remember the few minutes, she took to listen to me and encourage me. Thank you, Nurse Kuda, for your kindness and humanity. Please always continue with respect, humanity, non-judgment, and professionalism.
