Kurrin Shelton, RN

Kurrin was my nurse on my second day of admission. I was going through a whirlwind, lot of emotions and pain with learning and living with my new diagnosis. I was in a lot of pain when we met and she made it a focal point to ensure I was set up with a pain management plan. Every time she came into my room she made me feel safe and well cared for. She kept me in bright spirits throughout all of the procedures and doctors coming in and out of my room. She was a joy to be around. She made me smile on a day I didn't think I possibly ever could. Her knowledge, caring heart, and prompt care is why I'm nominating her for this special award.
