Kurt always takes the time to mentor students. This nurse teaches and explains all procedures. This RN educates the student on medications, IV drips, and care of the critically ill patient. This nurse displays such passion in the care of their patients and their family members. This RN is an asset to the ICU team. The students all want to learn from this nurse. Thank you to Kurt!

Clinicals this semester (#5) were scary and on day one you were so willing to have students with you! Following you for almost this whole semester has given me confidence with documentation, medication calculations, and administration, and also with patient education. I love the passion that you have for your patients and how you have the ability to make the most complicated situation simple and manageable. I’ve seen your patients’ demeanor change based on how calm, cool, and collected you stay in all situations.
