When I was finally admitted to the hospital after waiting 7 hours for a room, Chandi was my nurse with only 2 hours left in her shift. Chandi made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I was in so much pain and had very bad open wounds. Chandi immediately went to work on me. She offered many suggestions to comfort my wounds. She made sure that I was as comfortable as possible before she left for the day. I requested her to be my nurse the next day and she exceeded my expectations. We ran out of Polymem pads and she was constantly calling to restock. Chandi made sure that I had enough supplies before her shift was over. Chandi is amazing. She made sure that when the pain and radiation team was here, she was also present. She wanted to make sure we were all on the same page regarding treatment and pain management. Chandi even picked up an extra shift so that she could take care of me. If that's not dedication, I don't know what is. Although all of my nurses were great, I just feel that Chandi made a huge impact on me. Chandi was patient and incredibly sweet. I will miss her dearly when I go home.
