Ms. Lawrence is a full-time staff member at Family Medicine Island West – Stewart Road. She was nominated for her teamwork in volunteering to assist the COVID clinics during the outbreak and continued aftermath of COVID. Ms. Lawrence has a high level of critical thinking skills which aided in identifying COVID patients who required a higher level of care than what the clinic could support. She was always patient-focused and an advocate for providing a clean environment to aid in the prevention of COVID spreading. Ms. Lawrence advocated for her peers by ensuring everyone was safe during the collection process of COVID through proper demonstration of wearing PPE and collecting specimens. Ms. Lawrence consistently demonstrates a high level of integrity and compassion for her patients and colleagues. She is an amazing team member of the Ambulatory Department.
