I was admitted to this floor for almost one week. Kyla had been my night shift nurse for three nights. She was so nice and understanding of my specific issues and never treated me as if I was less than or not important. I have no specific story, but just my entire experience being her patient. Although I know she had several other patients each shift, she made me feel like I was her only one. She catered to all my needs, made it very clear, and always reassured me that I was not bothering her when I asked for something. She took the time to sit and talk with me and got to know me. Although I was in a lot of pain throughout my stay, I looked forward to the nights when I knew she was my nurse. I feel that Sierra View Medical Center is so lucky to have a nurse like Kyla. She is such a sweet person who has a good heart and puts her patients first. She is willing to give herself more work if it means I am more comfortable. I am very glad that I am not in the hospital anymore, but sad that I will not get to talk to Kyla anymore. She is truly a gem in this hospital and deserves all the great things that come her way. “Thank you so much, Kyla, for all your help and hard work in getting me better.
