Kyla Lee not only has extraordinary compassion and care for my husband, but for me and our family. She instills faith, hope, and trust in everyone she comes in contact with. Can't tell you how important she is to everyone she cares for. She even stopped by on her day off to check on us. Kyla, thank you for all your care.

Kyla always shows compassion to her patients and families, and this time was no different. I watched her as she cried with the patient's wife as they discussed the possibility of terminal extubation. She came on her day off to check on her patient and family which meant so much to the patient's wife. It was evident how much the patient and family loved and appreciated her excellent care that they wished Kyla could come when he transferred to the floor.

It is nurses like Kyla that go above and beyond and care, not just for the patient, but the family as well, that make the unit and hospital who we are. I am so proud to have Kyla as part of our CICU team.
