Kyla is so very caring to the patients. When Kyla is Charge Nurse, she makes sure she visits each patient and introduced herself to them. She wants them to know she is here for them when their own nurse is busy. Plus, she likes the patients to know if they need something, we can work on that. Besides being professional, it is such a caring warm "fuzzy" to give someone.

Many of her colleagues use her as a reference or a "go to" person. Kyla never declines to help anyone who asks her. Plus, she recognizes someone in need even if they don't see it and she'll offer help. I've seen many physicians seek her out for help. Kyla is respected by all who work with her. She is the definition of teamwork.

It's truly a joy to watch Kyla when she is working the floor instead of Charge Nurse. To see how she interacts with her patients is heartwarming. She puts her heart and soul in being a nurse. It's almost like her patients are her family. Kind, giving and caring is Kyla's practice. The care her patients receive is 110%.

Kyla in a "crisis" is excellent. She is strong, calm and quick acting. I'm in awe of her. We are truly lucky to have Kyla on our team!!
